Terms of Service for Dropease
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dropease application ("the App"), operated by Dropease. By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the App
You may use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The App is designed to help merchants generate product content, images, insights, and synchronize updated product information back to Shopify.
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all content you choose to publish to your Shopify store.
2. Shopify Platform Access
To operate, the App requires access to certain Shopify store data, including product information, store identifiers, and theme data. By installing the App, you grant Dropease permission to access and process this data as described in our Privacy Policy.
The App never updates or modifies product information unless you explicitly submit a sync action.
3. AI-Generated Content
The App uses AI systems to generate product titles, descriptions, visuals, insights, ALT text, and theme-ready content.
You acknowledge that:
- •AI output may contain errors
- •You are solely responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing
- •Dropease is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of this content
All generated content is provided "as is."
4. Subscription & Billing
If the App offers paid plans:
- •Fees are billed through Shopify's billing system
- •Charges follow Shopify's subscription and payment policies
- •Fees are non-refundable unless required by law
Canceling billing or uninstalling the App may immediately limit your access to features.
5. Data & Privacy
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the App, you consent to:
- •The collection and processing of necessary Shopify store data
- •The use of provided data for AI generation
- •The storage of usage logs and generated content while the subscription is active
We do not sell or share your data outside the services required to operate the App.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- •Use the App for illegal or harmful activities
- •Reverse engineer or attempt to access the App's internal systems
- •Use AI outputs for misleading or fraudulent product claims
- •Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of your access.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dropease is not liable for:
- •Loss of revenue or profits
- •Errors or inaccuracies in generated content
- •Business interruption
- •Loss of data
- •Any indirect or consequential damages
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to uninstall it.
8. Changes to the App or Terms
We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
